Nothingness will save me from the hell of everything.

Nothingness will save me from the hell of everything.
Peace and emptiness, the abiding salve against decadence.
Exquisite escapades
Illuminated by the sun.
Triple delights
Found on the run.
Brazen adventures
Fired from a gun.
2032
I miss the long barren desert;
The hopelessness and its wealth of freedom.
Acrobats in the air,
Fire driven hard and rare.
The many left replete,
A few favoured beyond care.
There beneath the tongues creep,
Broken,
Shattered,
Pressured,
Ready to weep.
Rounded domes
Clear but white
Clouded vision
Invisible at night
Searing rivers
Driven by spite
Leaching poison
A necessary rite
Why are the birds so generous?
Are they conscious of their gift?
Do they fly to remind us of freedom?
Do they dip and wheel to dispel the bonds binding our earth bound limbs?
For a brief moment question and answer collapse.
In a hidden corner
Something was found
Memories of loss
Clothes green and brown
Too many faces
Seen from afar
Order confused
In the grand bazaar.
In the days of quiet
We live in riot
I wonder which
To fade or stitch.
Ripple and rhyme
Forgetting is crime
Deploy and embrace
Honour given to those who face.
