Enlightened?
The neandertal reigns!

axial shift.
leaden feet,
demon neat.

bundles; too many!
jumbled arrangement,
ordered loss.
the rain fell,
tumbling gains.

Rounded domes
Clear but white
Clouded vision
Invisible at night
Searing rivers
Driven by spite
Leaching poison
A necessary rite

Why are the birds so generous?

Are they conscious of their gift?

Do they fly to remind us of freedom?

Do they dip and wheel to dispel the bonds binding our earth bound limbs?
