Visor

Gobble

Foster an attitude

Of gristle and teeth.

Given a heartbeat

To listen and weep.

Count the hours

In search of retreat.

There are no exits

Found amid the heath.

Moss and Slate

Ebullience in relief,

Today or tomorrow,

Next year a thief.

Gather your sorrow,

Use a blanket and sheath,

Allow the leper to borrow.

Parallel and Point

What do you want?

I want to buy.

Give me your money.

You ask a lot.

I’m only trying to help.

Leave me alone.

You are most strange.

Tap

A cloud drifted lazy and grey.

Caught in its shadow a cart ambled through the hills.

Seated on a plank of hard splintery wood,

The driver mumbled a much loved song.

His horse whickered approval.

Above their position blue radiance shone bright.

Quota

Quota

Essential regret

A spider speck

Flagrant wink

An empty sink

 Pudding

Nights respite

Alphabet delight

Demeanour

Drifting in and around

He wore a sailor’s gown

Three lengths woven coarse

To bridle a wicked horse

Jelly

Forty five degrees

Converging to a point

Skate and glide

Tumble and fall

A whistling wind screams ruin

Quiet chokes the crush

Scramble and claw

Rive and score

Tremendous feat never a chance

Blast doubt and turn a route

A Want of Listen

So little, so small.

Hands spread, mouth wide.

They hear the cry.

Ears prick, heads incline decline.

Wonder sparks bright.

Affectation, a pure delight.

Nothing to compare captured in the light.

Stretch Balloon

Inching forward, a steady plod.

Compensation an aggregation.

More to listen, ease the terror.

Greater to be, a must.

Eager

What is held too long to hold.

From a place.

Grinding wheels.

Arrival beckons, friction slips.

Ghosting through a point of balance.

Scale tipped, choice delivered.
