Acrobats in the air,
Fire driven hard and rare.
The many left replete,
A few favoured beyond care.
There beneath the tongues creep,
Broken,
Shattered,
Pressured,
Ready to weep.
In a hidden corner
Something was found
Memories of loss
Clothes green and brown
Too many faces
Seen from afar
Order confused
In the grand bazaar.
In the days of quiet
We live in riot
I wonder which
To fade or stitch.
Ripple and rhyme
Forgetting is crime
Deploy and embrace
Honour given to those who face.
